About Us
Chinese Costume Promotion Committee
We aims to
(1) to enhance the understanding of the community on traditional Chinese costumes and related cultural connotations;
(2) to promote Chinese costumes to the community by organizing activities, the prime event being the annual Chinese Costume Parade, which is open for participation for all those who are interested to share in the fun.
The Committee is made up of members from the Hong Kong University Graduates Association and the Fuzi Chamber. They serve in the Committee on voluntary basis and are committed to the goal of rejuvenation of the Chinese costumes.
About the Fuzi Chamber
The Fuzi Chamber, registered as a society in June 2012, is set up by a group of Excos and members of the Hong Kong University Graduates Association, as well as a number of graduates and students from other institutions.
We strive to engage a wide cross spectrum of the community for the promotion of Chinese culture and values. The values we advocate include family love, fraternal love, a cosmopolitan world, harmony with the Nature and the five universal values of being benevolent, upright, observing rites, rational and trustworthy.
Our motto is “to promote the Chinese traditional values, to revive the vehicle for cultural development, to promote universal values, and to attain moral betterment for ourselves and others through practice and action”.
